Atchley, Hubert age 82 of Maryville, died Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at the family home. He was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church where he was a former choir director and Sunday School Teacher. He also was a 32 degree Mason and Shriner; a founding member of Everett High School Alumni Association where he was involved in numerous activities; a Band Director of Everett High School; and a Guidance Counselor at Heritage High School. Preceded in death by: Parents, George and Theodoshie Atchley; Five Brothers; One Sister. Survivors include: Brother and Sister-in-law, Wendell & Jackie Atchley of Maryville; Sister, Grace Atchley of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Thursday, June 20, 2002 at Smith Mortuary. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 21, 2002 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 PM, Thursday, June 20, 2002, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000.
