King, Curtis Leon, age 77, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Monday morning, April 10, 2006 at his home. He was a veteran of the US Army during World War II, a graduate of the University of Tennessee and did tax and accounting work. Curtis was a member of Trinity Chapel. Preceded in death by his father, Charles King and mother, Alverta King.
Survivors
Survivors include wife, Barbara Lee King; daughters, Kathy Anne Martin and husband, Keith Martin of Roanoke, Virginia and Laura Lee Duncan and husband, Grant Duncan of Thousand Oaks, California; sister, Imogene (Jean) Layman King; four grandchildren, Megan Nicole Martin, Hannah Elizabeth Martin, Reece Berkley Duncan and Katherine Elise Duncan.
Service
Family will receive friends 6–7:30 PM Thursday April 13, at Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Chapman Hwy. with funeral service to follow at 7:30 PM. Rev. Steve Fatow officiating. Family and friends will meet at Shiloh Cemetery in Pigeon Forge at 11:00 AM on Friday April 14th for the interment service. Pallbearers will be Randy Effler, Gus Aiken, Charles Riggs, Curtis Phillips, Jack Wright, Ed Fowler, and Jim Sellers. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Trinity Chapel, for the International Crusade Ministry, 5830 Haynes Sterchi Rd., Knoxville Tennessee 37912.
