Preceded in death by parents: Cecil H. and Carmer Peterson Cochran. Survivors: daughter: Norma Jean Bell of Greenback; son: Marion (Sonny) Maples of Maryville; sisters: Darlene Cochran Kerley, Eleanor Cochran Denton both of Maryville, Dale Cochran Montgomery of Greenback; brothers and sisters-in-law: John and Jill Cochran, Charles and Mary Jo Cochran all of Maryville; grandchildren: Julie Bell, Jennifer Bell both of Maryville, Judy Evans and husband Don of Greenback, Angie Stafford and husband Robert of Greenback, Leslie McCarter and wife Joan of Maryville, Tony McCarter of Greenback; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral service 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2004 Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Dr. Marvin Gass officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Friday Morning at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society @ Jill Rollins 2330 Chesterfield Drive, Maryville, TN 37803. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
