STOVER John Hill (b.1750) and Elizabeth Kyler (b.1751) were married in 1771. They are buried in the Hills Cemetery, District #7, Sevier County, TN. Their daughter, Elizabeth, was born August J30, 1788. She died May 3, 1874. She married Jacob STOVER in October, 1807 in Sevier County, at the home of John Hill. This home is located near Powder Springs. They were married by Josiah Rodgers, JP. Elizabeth is buried at Jones Chapel, Sevier County. Jacob and Elizabeth had three children, Lorenzo Don Stover, born July 19, 1809; Barbara STOVER, born April 11, 1812; and McMillion STOVER, born November 25, 1813. Jacob STOVER enlisted in the War of 1812. He was a Mounted Spy to Brigadier General Nathaniel Taylor's Brigade. He died at Fort Deposit, Alabama on January 20, 1815.
