Serious researchers steeped in genealogy will find a gold mine of information in this five volume series. All volumes have Brides and Grooms listed alphabetically. Includes date of license and marriage plus name and title of person officiating.

Volume I, 1856 – 1913 - There are more than 9,000 marriage details found in this 362 page research document. Records prior to 1856 were destroyed with the burning of the Sevier County Court House. But records of the eighty-five marriages from the personal log of Rev. Lemuel Bogart going back to April 24, 1842 are included.
Volume II, 1914 – 1944 - A continuation of marriage records from Volume I (1856- 1913) in a 391 page compilation. Frequently gives ages and home towns.
Volume III, 1945 – 1971 - 418 page compilation. Gives date of births and home towns.
Volume IV, 1972 –198l - 409 page compilation. Gives date of births and home towns.
Volume V, 1982 - Aug 1987 - 398 page compilation. Gives date of births and home towns
