records up through 1983, with maps, photographs, locations, and directions
to over 350 Sevier County, Tennessee cemeteries. It includes transcriptions
of surviving legible tombstones, including names, dates, and significant
inscriptions. A separate listing of persons known or believed to be buried
in unmarked graves in each cemetery, noting stones which have disappeared;
identification of graves and/or cemeteries relocated by the Tennessee Valley
Authority construction of Douglas Lake. Also includes all known cemeteries
in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee side.
