Notes

Kate was educated in the Haywood County Schools and graduated from Canton High. Kate went on to receive a degree from Blanton's Business College. After graduation she worked for a few years for a group of lawyers in Asheville. Kate became a full time homemaker, wife and mother after her marriage.

Kate passed away after a long battle with M/S. She was buried in Crawford Memorial Cemetery.
