Abraham W. McMahan is listed on 1850, 1860, 1870 and 1880 Sevier County, Tennessee Federal Census. On the 1880 census he is living with his son Wash. Abraham had rheumatism.

Buried in the Shiloh Cemetery.

SMHS has birth date as 22 March 1800 death 28 January 1883.
