Notes

James S. and Pithiany (Williams) Rolen lived in Jones Cove, Sevier County, Tennessee until the early 1900's when they moved to Newport, Tennessee where he worked for Stokley Brothers Canning Factory. After Theney's death the family moved to Marion, North Carolina where he worked for the McDowell Furniture Factory.
