Notes

Archie Ray attended Sevier County, Tennessee schools, Pittman Center High School, Maryville College and the University of Tennessee. She taught school in Sevier County public schools for eighteen years, served on the Sevier County Farm Bureau as director for approximately thirty-one years. She received the Distinguished Service Award from State Farm Bureau in 1991. In 1989, she was appointed by Secretary of Agriculture, Clayton Yeutter to the State Agricultural Stabilization Conservation Committee where she served four years.
