Ellen Louisa Eldred was descended from John and Anne Aldred. John Eldred build the Great Saxham Hall at Saxham Suffold known as 'Nutmeg Hall'. There is a basrelief of him in the chancel of the church. His wife Lady Anne Eldred had a memorial medal struck for her. The Eldred armor can be seen at Windsor Castle.
