George was married first by Fredrick Emmett. In his Bible there is listed a B. A. born 4 15 1857 and died 2 14 1940 which is his last wife Elizabeth 'Betsy' Ann King.

Maryville Times Saturday October 29 1898 George Caylor was shot Wednesday and died Thursday. He was killied by a young man by the name of Webb, It is reported that they fell out over a quart of whiskey.

Buried in Myers Cemetery.

Donald B. Reagan lists death as 25 February 1899.
