Notes

David Shultz was named along with his mother, Juliana Shultz as executor and exectrix of Dr. Martin Shultz's last Will and Testament in the 'Fall of 1787' according to Deed Book '1' of Sullivan County, Tennessee.

In the 'First Account Book of Thomas Amis' in Hawkins County, Tennessee, David Shultz was listed with date of the first account in 1788.

'North Carolina Land Grants in Tennessee 1778-1791', compiled by Betty Goff Cook Cartwright and Lillian Johnson Gardiner, shows that David Shultz received a land grant from the State of North Carolina for 50 acres entry on the 'waters of Honneycutts Creek' in the Eastern District of [East] Tennessee. This land was located in Hawkins County, Tennessee.

Family traditions say he moved to Kentucky. Later appeared in McNairy County, Tennessee where he probably died.
