Notes

Anna's father willed the slave Hannah to her. Two other slaves willed to her brother William (Jack and Charity) were passed on to her after William's death in 1855. Jack and Charity were on the Church Roll of the New Salem Church in Jones Cove, Sevier County, Tennessee which Joab gave the land for it to be built.

Buried in Proffitt Cemetery.
