Notes

Thomas Macomber was a physician in Taunton, Massachusetts. On 8 July, 1736, Thomas Macomber of Taunton deeded to his oldest son, Stephen, land at 'Neck of Land,' also his homestead on Mill River and a lot in Pine Swamp. His will dated 7 June 1766, was probated 26 February 1770. It names his wife Mary and children Stephen, John, James, Mercy Willis, and Hannah Woodward.
