Notes

Nancy and James had a rough time, matrimonically, she was stubborn and could be real vindictive - was selfish - but other qualities she had were that she sometimes loved her husband and family to a point of possiveness. When the gold rush took place, the Moffitts were among those wh headed the call, before 1890.
