Notes

The will of Andrew J. McTeer of Blount County, written 13 July 1935, probated 27 November 1935, bequeathed all property both real and personal to son Carl McTeer, he to pay all debts against the estate. 'I realize I am not leaving my sons Ira, Edward and Arthur any of my estate, but I feel that I have already advanced Edward his equitable share; while Ira and Arthur will be provided for by the U. S. Government as Ira is now retired, and Arthur is now eligible for retirement, and they are in no way to be held liable for any of my debts.
