Notes

Probably a son of Hercules and Elizabeth Ogle, but no proof. He entered as Occupant Enterer for 161 acres of land in the County of Monroe, Hiwassee District on 11th December 1826. From 'Monroe County, Tennessee Records, Vol. 2', by Reba B. Boyer, there is mentioned 'Death of John Ogle is suggested' in the Circuit Court minutes - May 1828.
