Again, Martha was listed as the head of household in the 1880 Federal Census of Swain County, North Carolina. She had two children still living at home then: Isaac E., age 21; and Mary J., age 17.
Martha died in the Oconalufty River community and it is assumend that she was buried probably beside her husband in the Bradley-Carver Cemetery in the Bradley Fork area of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
