Frederick Styres and his wife moved to the Middle Creek community in Sevier County, Tennessee from Blount County, Tennessee about 1867. They were listed in the 1870 and 1880 Federal Census of Sevier County, Tennessee.
Frederick Styres was in Company B, 2nd Tennessee Cavalry in the Civil War.
Frederick Styres died in the Middle Creek community and was buried in the Middle Creek Methodist Church Cemetery.
