Notes

Elijah Ogle lived on the first land entered by his father near Mill Creek. They were listed in the 1850 through 1880 Federal Census of Sevier County, Tennessee.

Elijah Ogle inherited his farm and all his life was spent here. He served as the church clerk for many years and as a Justice of Peace for the 11th district. He is believed to be buried in the family cemetery where Bon-Air Motel now stands.
