Notes

Alfred Fleming enlisted in the Civil War in June 1862 in Co. F 9th Vermont Regiment Infantry. He was stationed in Winchester Virginia where he was attacked with typhoid fever and died with no loved one near, after a few days struggle with the disease.

Alfred Fleming was Albert Francis Sawyer's brother and Anna O Sawyer's cousin.
