Notes

John Stinnett owned land in the Greenbriar section of Sevier County, Tennessee near Gatlinburg. The property is in the Smoky Mountains National Park now. John moved to Whitfield County in Georgia late in his life but he was at the home of his son, Isaac, on Laurel Creek in Sevier County, Tennessee when he died. He is buried in Dodgen-Rayfield Cemetery in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

SMHS lists birth as 15 November 1835.
