Data seems to suggest that the Sevier County Timothy is son of John Ragan because his son Charles is said to be one of the four brothers. Charles migrated to Greene and Blount Counties, Tennessee near the Sevier County Timothy. Also John Ragan died in Virginia supporting the idea that he was father of the four brothers family tradition describes leaving Virginia.
Donald B. Reagan only suggests that Timothy Senior is the grandfather of the Sevier County Timothy, that more proof is needed to identify his father.
